On March 23, 2009, Bedford Recycling opened a new scrap metal buying facility outside the old Dana Manufacturing plant behind the Credit Union off of Highway 37 in Mitchell, IN. The facility buys almost all scrap metals from the public. Bedford Recycling focuses on providing the best customer experience available and is always working to improve it. At Bedford Recycling's Mitchell Collection Site, sellers of scrap metal will find an organized, efficient and service oriented buyer that pays top dollar for most metals, especially steel and sheet iron goods (Bedford Recycling operates their own shredder at their Bedford location, which allows them to pay top dollar for materials in most cases.) Of course, the integrity of the transaction and fairness to the customer are impeccable, with every aspect of the transaction visible and open to the seller's inspection (including all scale weights.)

The Mitchell Facility will be open Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Saturday 7:30-Noon.
